Your contract for personal membership in
“THE HERA CIRCLE”
We sincerely hope to welcome you as part of our circle very soon. Before you begin, please read the membership agreement carefully and enter your details in the required fields.
By clicking on the “Sign up now” button, you are submitting a binding membership application. You will then receive an email confirming receipt of your application and providing you with the essential information about the conclusion of the contract. We will save the text of the contract.
Since “THE HERA CIRCLE” is a network in which we attach great importance to a harmonious membership structure, your application will be reviewed with great care. If you are a good fit for us and, above all, we are a good fit for you, you will receive your login details from us by email. If we are not a good fit for each other, please do not take it personally. Once you have received your login details, you can start your membership. You can now create your individual profile, participate in our events after registering in advance, and benefit from all the listed advantages.
Important information about the contract
Your “THE HERA CIRCLE” membership is personal and non-transferable. The contractual partner is THE HERA CIRCLE, Aachener Str. 61, 50674 Cologne, Germany. The contract for your membership is concluded when we send you the contract confirmation (subject line: Your Hera Membership is activated - what's next?).
Agreement to paid membership/contract commencement
After reviewing and accepting your application, you will receive an email from us with a link to create your login details and another email that will take you to our subscription area, where you can complete your membership using your login details. Membership of “THE HERA CIRCLE” costs 89€ /111€ per month (including VAT) The monthly payment will be collected via your chosen payment method. If you sign up for a year-long membership, you will save €10 per month. The annual membership can be canceled on an annual basis. The annual payment will be collected via your chosen payment method. You can select one of the two options during the registration process.
Participation in events
As a member of “THE HERA CIRCLE,” you can register for our events. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You will only be added to the guest list once you have received confirmation from us following your registration. If, after receiving our confirmation, you find that you are unable to attend an event, please send us a cancellation notice as soon as possible.
We regularly offer events that are also open to non-members. Tickets for these events can be purchased for a fee.
Events and costs
At THE HERA CIRCLE, we offer various benefits, discounts, and special offers for our members. The costs vary depending on the type of event. Workshops, retreats, dinner events, and other events offered by partners are available to you at special THE HERA CIRCLE rates.
We also offer regular “free events” for our members. To stay up to date, check our event calendar.
Tickets subject to a fee
Some of our events are subject to a fee. Tickets to attend these events can be purchased via our website. In exceptional cases, we will refund purchased tickets if we receive notification of cancellation at least forty-eight hours before the start of the event at support@theheracircle.com.
Deposit tickets
If you participate in an event with “deposit tickets,” the full ticket price of your purchased ticket will be refunded after the event if you attended the event. If you cancel up to 48 hours before the start of the event, we will also refund your ticket. Tickets will be refunded within 5 business days after the end of the event. If you cancel within 48 hours before the start of the event or do not attend the event, we cannot refund your ticket. Our deposit ticket policy applies to certain events for which we make seat reservations for you with external partners. To ensure that we are not left with any costs if you do not attend the booked event, we require the purchase of a deposit ticket for your seat reservation.
Ticket cancellation
Please note that ticket cancellations must be made in writing by email to support@theheracircle.com at least forty-eight hours before the start of the respective event so that we can refund your ticket(s).
Guarantee
THE HERA CIRCLE is exempt from its obligation to perform in cases of force majeure. Force majeure includes all unforeseen events and events whose effects on the fulfillment of the contract are beyond the control of either party. These events include, in particular, lawful industrial action, including in third-party companies, official measures, failure of communication networks and gateways of other companies, disruptions in the area of line providers, other technical disruptions, even if these circumstances occur in the area of subcontractors, sub-suppliers or their subcontractors or at operators of sub-account computers authorized by the provider. The participant shall not be entitled to any claims for disruptions for which THE HERA CIRCLE is not responsible.
Cancellation
If you no longer wish to continue your membership with THE HERA CIRCLE, you can cancel your membership at any time. If you wish to cancel, you will find the cancellation option under “My Account.” If you have any difficulties, you can send your cancellation in writing to support@theheracircle.com.
If you cancel, please ensure that you receive confirmation of the cancellation from us. We may also terminate your membership with one month's notice to the end of the contract period or terminate it extraordinarily for good cause.
Privacy policy
In order to execute the contract and provide member support, we, THE HERA CIRCLE, process the personal data required for this purpose and provided by you (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). In doing so, we comply in particular with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All information on how and why we process your data, what rights you have as a data subject, and all other legally required information can be found in our privacy policy. Amendments or additions to this contract must be made in writing. If they do not comply with this requirement, they are void. This also applies to amendments to this written form clause. Your right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel your membership within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, “THE HERA CIRCLE,” of your decision to terminate this contract in a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail to THE HERA CIRCLE, Aachener Str. 61, 50674 Cologne) within the specified period.
You can use sample withdrawal forms for this purpose, but this is not mandatory. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of cancellation
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged for this refund.
